Springfield, MO- Due to a crazy mix up, Freshman Kevin McCallister was left all alone on the Drury Campus when every other Drury student left to watch the NCAA Division II Championship in Atlanta.
“Hello, anyone there?” asked Kevin as he sleepily walked through the campus in his pajamas. “They all left. I am campus alone…campus alone.”
Kevin then raised and lowered his eyebrows in a comical way.
Kevin then proceeded to look through all his campus-mates stuff, ordered a cheese pizza, watch violent movies from the 1950’s, and made a sundae out of all the ice cream on campus.

He also had to face his fears of a super scary boiler in the basement and the creepy old man who lived next door to the campus.
But, the real challenge happened when two bumbling thieves tried to rob the campus.
“I knew this was my campus, I had to defend it,” said Kevin to FCN. “I made some elaborate traps out of textbooks, empty beer cans, and corkboards. A lot of traps should have killed them, but somehow they were ok. They got me at the end, but luckily the old man saved me.”
The next day, on Drury Victory Morning, Kevin was decorating the Drury Tree and turned to find his entire Drury family pouring into Drury’s living room.
“It was such a wonderful moment,” said Kevin. “I really learned about the importance of campus family. And I really can’t wait to the campus-wide fieldtrip to New York.”
