Although results are still out on the new slogan’s effectiveness, Akin’s rallies have seen a boost in attendance by people who claim they are now “retodded”.   Certainly, these self-described “retodds” are very enthusiastic and at times literally drooling with excitement.  They have also rented small buses to follow the campaign from town to town while planting Akin yard signs all around the state.  Much of this new enthusiasm seems to be focused in and around Springfield, which is quickly becoming the “retodd” capital of Missouri.
