Springfield MO and Phoenix AZ-Senate hopeful Roy Blunt from Springfield Missouri is now running campaign ads showing how he is helping the people of Arizona, California, and Texas by leading the fight against illegal immigration. Tony Trueblood, Blunt’s senior political adviser, says that there is no motivation other than political emotion for Roy Blunt to become involved in the immigration issue. “Roy is just trying to bring awareness to the representatives from those states on illegal immigration. He is just being nice by helping them out.”
Sheriff Joe Apphole, from Apache county in Arizona, welcomes Blunt’s involvement. “I think it’s great that he took time from Missouri to come down here and take charge of illegal immigration. Before he arrived our leaders weren’t doing a dang thing about it. Our own people that we elected in both the House and the Senate didn’t even know there was a problem. We now call him “Our Boy Roy”, because it was him and him alone that made illegal immigration a political issue not only here but all over the country. We even have pictures of him with a hammer and nails patching holes in the border fence.”
On the theme of helping out other states, Senator John McCain of Arizona will soon be running ads in that state depicting how he is leading the fight against Missouri puppy mills. “The Missouri puppy mill issue is simply out of control.”, commented McCain. “We have got to stop the flow of Missouri puppies going unchecked into not only Arizona, but other states as well. Most of these dogs are without the proper papers and undocumented. Once they get here they breed creating anchor puppies and more dogs to support. The sad thing is these Missouri puppies take away loving homes from Arizona dogs that will if they are lucky, wind up begging for food in the street, or be sent to death in the pound.
To help solve the problem of both states, Blunt and McCain will co-sponsor legislation that would require any illegal immigrant that is being deported to take an anchor puppy back with him across the border.
