Invisible Fence Sign on Visible Fence

Springfield, MO—A sign claiming fence invisibility is posted on a main thoroughfare in the Queen city yet to the naked eye the fence is clearly visible. Motorist traveling north on National street are exposed to this ironic advertisement every day and seek answers to this confusing signage.
“The wood fence is surrounded by an invisible fence just outside the perimeter. Its there, you just can’t see it,” said motorist Jackie Houghton. “That’s my theory anyway.”
“Clearly the dog has an invisible body, maybe they meant to post ‘invisible canine torso’ instead of ‘fence’ perhaps?” pondered bicyclist Jeff Langdon.
Invisible Fence company released a statement claiming they placed the transit board at the current location as “you can’t hang a sing on an invisible fence. In fact, you can’t hang anything on an invisible fence. The fence we found was really sturdy and made of good wood so we used it. In fact, as long as un-invisible fences are around we’ll have a place to advertise the loss of privacy. We’re glad to have found the non-invisible fence to promote our invisible fence in a high traffic area with lots of visibility.”
An alternative sign concept included using invisible ink on the sign, however, that idea was dropped at the last minute due to the extreme cost of decoder lenses for every passing viewer.
Other product signage includes an infrared fence sign hung on an iron gate, a motion sensor fence sign hung on a chain link fence and a force field fence sign on a bomb shelter.
