Local Boyfriend’s Weekend Revolves Around Vampires

Springfield, MO- Tom Ragsdale’s, a local boyfriend to Jessica Swanson, entire weekend will be dedicated to the undead thanks to his girlfriend’s love affair with the blood drinkers. “Oh my gosh I am so excited. We are going to see Eclipse on Friday! We are even wearing matching T-Shirts,” exclaimed Jessica to her girlfriend over lunch.

The matching T-shirts were made by Jessica the week before. One toting “Team Jacob” and the other “Team Edward” in black iron-on letters. “Jacob is the chick’s father right? The cop. He is pretty cool.” stated Tom.
The vampire week will continue when on Saturday Tom will go to Jessica’s house to watch 4 back logged episodes of the CW’s“The Vampire Diaries”. “Yeah, she works on Wednesday so she DVRs the show. I have never seen it. It can’t be like Twilight though. It…it can’t be,” said Tom. Finally, the weekend will be over when Tom and Jessica go to Jessica’s friend Tiffany’s house to watch HBO’s “True Blood”.

“I don’t understand it. She won’t watch the new “Nightmare On Elm Street” because it is too violent, but she doesn’t mind if a man gets his throat tore out because a sexy vampire does it.” Although Jessica likes numerous vampire movies and television shows there are some she can not stand. “I was hoping we could watch some good vampire stuff this weekend, to give me a break from the crap. Like ‘Underworld’ or Bram Stroker’s ‘Dracula’. She wouldn’t have any of it,” vented Tom to his room mate.

“Those movies are gross. I like my vampires cute, pining, and sparkling,” Jessica states to her co-workers.
